aloe vera safed my life from a poison snake. yes its worth it. I take aloe vera tablets everyday for good health

I see no reason why not. It is usually grown indoors anyway except for a few of the very southern United States on into Mexico and Central and South America. I wouldn't put it outside in the late season though.
If they can grow palm trees in Canada why not aloe?

I think if you made yourself a hot house or protected area it would be fine for the winter.
