Memory is high performance type that's best for overclocking especially on enthusiast motherboards with FULL TWEAKING options. RAM operates at a higher default voltage setting of 2.3V.
Motherboard is a good one but not ideal for overclocking. It might not set Vdimm (RAM voltage) to the high (2.3V) setting automatically. You may have to manually set it but I'm not so sure if motherboard has that high option.
An ASUS or Gigabyte enthusiast motherboard would have no trouble handling that RAM.

That actually is an enthusiast board, one of the few Intel actually makes. It will be able to handle that RAM, but to get it to run at stated speeds you will have to manually adjust in the BIOS.
