They were the 1st concert I ever saw back in 1973. Their stage show was fantastic but they diappeared over time. I had the album Angel "Helluva Band".

I also saw them back in '77 here in LA. I used to wear the concert t-shirt with pride to school all the time. Man, I haven't thought about them in 20 odd years.

I don't remember them from back in the seventys,but read about them in Classic Rock (UK). All I have isThe Anthology which came out in 1992. I have seen a few of their albums reissed,but no bonus tracks. A great band that got past over when punk/new wave hit the USA.

Angel is one of my brother's favorite bands. Punky Meadows was an awsome guitarist. My favorite necklace, when I was a kid, was Angel's logo on a gold chain. Their logo spells ANGEL even upside-down. Barry Brandt was also one of my favorite drummers.

a 70'glam/rock band, yeah I remember them, but they weren't real popular as I recall.
