A Ghost is a Spirit which is a Soul the Etheric body that we use to Astral Travel so when we pass over that is what leaves the body. It is understood as a sort of life force body or aura that constitutes the "blueprint" of the physical body, and which sustains the physical body.
Some people don't pass over because of unfinished business
Or they just don't know they have died
Or they didn't know to go to the light
This is what people call a Ghost
I call Spirit some call Lost Souls if lost please return them home ask Archangel Michael to come and take them to the light and free their Souls : )
You also have a Spirit Guide which has been with you from the time you was born till the day you pass over : )
Do you also know that people that Astral Travel are seen as ghost, so maybe people are seeing ghost maybe are just living people just exploring via Astral travelling : )
Food for thought isn't it ?
Nothing in life is to be feared, It is only to be understood.
Love & Blessings

The first home we moved into was a new house built on a very old quarry. One night I woke up to see a lady wearing a white hooded cape float across the room and through the bedroom wall (1st. floor) to outside. Later I told my neighbour what I had seen. She came back from the library with a book telling of this 'lady in white' who could be seen above the quarry - she walked where she used to before the ground in the quarry was dug away, which was why she was at bedroom height. I didn't really believe in ghosts till then, but now I have to.

Poli-b2001; I had exactly the same experience with my Grandmother.
I have seen a couple of ghosts, on most occasions it seemed perfectly natural at the time and it was not frightening.
Only once did I feel imposed upon, there was a presence that frequently used to sit on the end of my bed!
This was spread over a few years and survived a move of flat. In the end, I told it I meant no ill will, but it was disturbing me and it went away!
Think I'm potty? maybe, maybe not.

Yep me and a pal seen 2 and was talking to one of them, sitting under a bridge a guy just appeared and started talking to me, though at the time we never questioned his sudden appearance from nowhere, while i was talking my pal kept hitting me on the arm trying to get my attention then suddenly ran away, i kept talking, then out of the corner of my eye something caught my attention i looked and seen this scary looking white face glowing in the darkness hovering 6 foot above the ground i didn't think twice and ran away too, immediately after we couldn't remember a word the first one had said, and when we checked the next day the space where the face was hovering was only 3 foot high, i slept with the light on for the next few weeks !!

Ther was one in my old flat. LOADS happened. My gran bought me a clock and it had the wrong time on it, but i didnt set it right straight away. meanwhile the clock on my vcr wasnt set as you can only set it by using the remote, and i had lost that-i left it in my old house so it was long gone. The time on the new clock ws like three hours out. The day after she gave it to me i got home from work and the time on the broken vcr matched exactly the time on the clock-which was the wrong time. Theresno way possible to set the time without the remote. Thats just one thing, there was loads. The bathroom light was always switched on in the mornings when i got up, even though i ALWAYS switched it off. Every day when i got home from work the wastepaper bin in the lounge was always knocked over, every single day. Loadsa other stuff to. I moved cus none of my friends would come inside my flat. It didnt really bother me too much, it was just a bit naughty, i believe it let itself be known purely because it knew i wasnt scared x

I work for the Police and one night whilst out on foot patrol another officer who was walking towards me along the same road called up and said he wanted someone stopped who was heading towards me....
he claimed that this person was directly in front of me in a dark long coat and was possibly a female.
After a few seconds i met the other officer head on and he asked why i had not stopped her as she turned into a gateway.
i explained i had not seen anyone. We turned to the gateway he claimed the female figure had turned into and it was not only very rusty, but locked with a very old padlock and appeared not have been opened in years...
So no one could have gone in !
I did not see anyone, but he is convinced he saw this person !
Strange incident, and to this day beleives he saw this person, ghost whatever ?

I have never seen a ghost, but I think that it would be rather interesting to see one.... But I know a cool story.
My great granny's son William was fighting in the Battle of the Somme... And the same day he was killed. My Great Granny saw him walking in through the door... He just kept looking at the ground and looked so sad. And my Granny said to him, 'What are you doing home Billy?'
...And he disappeared from the floor up!!

I've seen many things. Once, it was the astral double of a living man, and then it was gone. Another time, what looked like a soldier that died in a river. He had weeds on him and looked wet. I also saw a dark shape that looked like a skeleton. And a psychic girlfriend said it was her guardian. All three were there one minute, and gone the next. I just considered it part of my exerience.
