Here is something I think is pretty cool: there was once a natural nuclear reactor on Earth! Back a billion and a half years ago there was a larger proportion of fissionable Uranium than there is now, and the fraction was high enough for an ore deposit in Gabon that it allowed sustained nuclear reactions to start. the rock cycle, and the water cycle... both of them make that we know that the water molecules which was drunk by the ancient people remains today and may be drunk by us ;), but the rock cycle is too long to make me able 2 c a rock molecule in an type and then in another type !!!!
