If you had the opportunity to travel back in time, what period would you like to visit and why?

It would be very interesting to travel into the past. I would like to see the world during the 1920's, 30's,40's etc... Life was simple back then. No Internet, cell phones, hybrid automobiles. Beautiful clothes also.
Another thought is to go back in time to correct things which you have done and want to change. But, of course, it can't be done and I love my life here and now, so I would want to return back. Good fantasy though.

I wouldn't go back unless I was guaranteed to return. From a selfish point of view, I'd go back to when I was doing college exams and make the answers right or to a few years ago when I could have afforded to buy my own house.

Id like to go back to very early childhood when my mum an dad used to take me places- i know they did and we ha awesome times but the fact that im too old to remember being that young makes me so sad cus i know they did it just to make me happy
Why did i get a thumbs down for that?? What on earth is wrong with that answer??????? Theres alot of thumbs downers tonight and i really dont care on any other question but what on earth is wrong with that?? I think its a nice answer!! I'm really offended now. At least its something that matters to me and the people i love!

I'd go back in time to when they built the time machine and convince them not to build it
Because man would only use it for evil reasons
Then I'd go my other selfs wife and marry her.
And live in that dimension for the rest of my life..

Certainly. As possible as it is to travel
backwards outside one.
I wouldn't expect the machine to work though.

don't know i would try and get it to go fowards in time as well before i started going backwards then i would go back and kill myself for the hell of it to test grandfather theory if i died i would never have been able to go back and kill myself and thus nothing changes

2 million years ago, so i could discover fire, invent the wheel, and start the agricultural revolution. that way we would be more than a million years more advanced.

i wouLD go back to just when me & my ex -wife......would argue like cats & doggz....and left sooner then later...or would--i have just turn the other cheek....so boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
