Because they are probably annoyed because of the time it took them to click into the rest of your question, they were pissed off to discover it was probably some dumb question that they had hoped instead would be a real or useful question. However, I usually decide to just back out but I have wondered why anyone would put in some of the stupid questions that they do.

Depends on your question. If your asking a question for example: Who out there is 16 and what is your address?... then I would report it too. However... People are jerks these days. Sorry that happened to you.

Well, you don't even have to get reported. Apparently, Yahoo! Answers can IMMEDIATELY remove your question if it breaks the rules. Yeah, it happened to me. I'm effin' ticked off about it too. Have a nice day!

I was hoping the new reporting regime would eliminate that stuff.
