It's just plain dangerous. I would have no problem with it if the only people adversely affected by the insane policies were liberals themselves. But Liberalism inherently endangers and adversely affects just about everyone.

How about I hope we win the War on Terror by loosing the war in Iraq (said in the least smug way possible.) Is that better?

You talk about smugness. Pot calls kettle black. I'll alert the media.

No one wants a loss and no one has stated we want to lose. What the liberals seek is a plan. Petraeus offered sort of a plan and that is the about the only thing we have had so far. The Administration certainly has not offered any plan other than stay the course even if it takes 2000 years and makes us beholden to every other country on earth with a national debt in the quintillions.

I am a liberal, but not commie or militant socialist at all.
What bothers me about many fellow liberals is they have too much sympathy for everybody and everything. When the justice system lets serious criminals off too easily, that bothers me most. Also many people are simply lousy and nasty, so I don't care if they fall apart.
However, these cons who only complain about spending on "programs" such as public education that (R)'s love to cut the budget of,
why don't you use as your prime example the wasteful spending in this Iraq ordeal?

that it has becomes such a part of modern culture, that many self-proclaimed conservatives who are bashing liberals, are actually liberals themselves, in their way of thinking, and the way they live their lives, but don't realized it. These people are liberals by traditional definition, and are only relatively conservative compared to extreme idiotic liberals.

Right. Uh huh. "Liberals" want us to lose the war on terror. Right. That's exactly it.

Do you actually believe that? If so, I think I've got a tinfoil hat around here somewhere that you can wear.

I think it's that liberals seem to feel everyone except middle aged white males are victims of some sort, and America is somehow the cause of it.

To punkingposeurs: I take it then you were one of the human shield volunteers?

For me it's the fact that they think they should tell us how to live, by taking more and more of the money I work for so they can implement more of their "programs" that never seem to work.
