What is going on with local TV tonight? Are the scheduled shows going to air or is the President's Address to the Nation going to be on all local channels like ussual? I really don't want to miss Big Brother 8 tonight. Am I gonna miss my show?

There will be no conflict. BB8 is scheduled for 8e/7c. The networks are scheduled for the 9e/8c slot for the President's speech. That means they start the three or four minute preview of the speech at the top of the hour but the actual speech does not start until about five minutes after the hour. After the speech is done, they will do analysis for whatever is left of the hour (or if it is really short the half hour).

Not sure, BB8 comes on at 7 central and Bush comes on at 9. but you do know that they have to talk about what he might say about 100 hours before the speech and then about 100 hours after the speech about what they thought he should have said. I think they need to have a button for network tv that we can chose whether to watch the President or BB8 or any other programs during the year. If we want to see the new then we would watch CNN or some of the other new channels.
Live my BB8 and Survivor alone.

Just my thoughts

I was wondering the same thing!

Here in Texas, BB is on at 7PM but like someone else said, since the Presidential Address comes on at 8PM...they will probably cut into BB halfway through to have to chit chat about what he might say and what it might mean, and discuss every angle of Bush's speech before he even gives it....GRRRRR!!!!

i visit might desire to pass to Specsavers lower back -I examine 'BB8' as 'BBQ' and that i grow to be thinking how a lot i might 'rejoice with' sticking a fork in Jonty's sausage on the cokes. It might desire to be Brian with a yoghurt actual !

if they do cut into the show you can watch the rest at CBS.com. they have full episodes on the website and although it's not the same as watching them at their original airtimes on TV, at least there's no commercials! however, i'm not sure how long after the original airtimes they post the episodes, so you might have to wait a while to see the ending :(

ok, BB is suppose to come on 7pm CST......IF Mr. Bush interrupts, he will have the LOWEST RATINGS EVER!!!
This isn't 1967, where the whole family and neighborhood tuned into the TV to listen to the Pres........I REMEMBER THAT!!!!
He is a pawn, that "fits the suit", probably Armani at that..that us US Tax payers pay for while we eat Hamburger Helper!!!...
Unless he says the US is pulling out of Iraq, and our US Born Citizens are coming home, there is nothing that man has to say is worth listening to...........He didn't write his speech ANYWAY!!!! So Why Bother Listening to Bullcrap!!!!!!!!!!
