im having an ultra sound done and i am curious to know what is the most early and possible time to know the baby's sex!!!

Sex is typically visible on modern ultrasound as early as 11-12 weeks. Most OBGYN's will do a scan around 18-20 weeks.
I was 18 weeks when I found out.

Found out @ 15 weeks,7 years ago. I was super thin back then, im not sure if it made it any easier for the doc? They were right,hes a boy!
P.S My insurance only paid for a certain amount of ultra sounds, so when I couldnt wait till 20 weeks, I said I fell down so they would do one.I know ,I know its terrible of me, but I couldnt wait.Thie time around Im not going to find out...

With my own 4 kids, we found out their sex when they were born. Generally speaking, many doctors offer a routine 20 week ultrasound at which time it may be possible to determine the sex of the baby.

I was about 20 weeks when my husband and I found out that it was a boy. We also got a thumb-sucking shot!
Now our baby is going on 6.

my first was 20 weeks.. the second was 18 weeks.. this one was 19 weeks the sonogramer said they were boys each time the first two times they were right... have yet to know for sure with this one ;)

My friend is 8 months pregnant now. She found out it was going to be a girl when she was only 14 weeks...lucky her.
