I left a Big4 audit firm 9mths ago for humanitarian. Difficulty getting back. No previous contacts. How?

I have worked there for only about 11 mths. I have not worked since 9 mths ago. 3 mths humanitarian, clearing my CPA papers, voluntary translation work... etc. Have a 2 mth stint as internal auditor which i found unsuitable and left.

Have been wanting to get back to a Spore Big4 audit firm for external audit since then. Because I understand that pay increase in higher in AUDIT, esp Big4. Most pple spend ~2 or 3 yrs there before going to commercial, just to obtain an Audit Senior's salary & exposure to accounting stds.

Pay increase in commercial is slow and starts from $2400 for me.

Why did you leave to do other work rather than staying longer and now want to go back? Your job record will need some improvement before another big firm will want to talk to you. You may want to look for a job with a smaller auditing firm and stay for a few years to show that you can hold down a job for longer than 11 months Perhaps then, one of the bigger firms will be interested in talking with you.
