Sorry to the last few people, but the 6400+ is out now:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103191
It is the fastest AMD available currently, though by the end of the year the new Phenoms should be out, which will be much faster.

*First, construct it your self. that's extra low-priced, extra relaxing, and you finally end up with extra suitable high quality areas and larger warranties. it somewhat is comprehensive overkill to easily watch video clips and skim the internet. does not count which CPU you get the two. purely get any quad-center above say 2.sixty six Ghz and you'd be purely fantastic. For a GPU, any committed card will play video clips properly. i prefer to propose going with ATI concept. sorting out shows ATI playing cards hand HD video clips extra suitable with much less power and larger shade accuracy than Nvidia. the two way, you will be solid with a card interior the $seventy 5 selection like an ATI HD 5670 or Nvidia GT 430. in case you elect your computer to be quickly, each and all of the money you're attempting to waste on a CPU, get an SSD rather. which will make your laptop plenty plenty swifter than a customary 7200 RPM stress and a effective CPU. because you're set on purchase a pre-geared up, you will be of their custom setup section. Dell, HP, Apple, etc. all of them have them. %. out their maximum inexpensive computer with a quad center, does not count if its AMD or Intel. Then locate and decide the 128 GB SSD option. Then placed a one million or 2 TB secondary stress interior the equipment to keep your video clips and you're achieved.

Truthfully, it all depends on what type of applications you will be running.
But overall, the best performer for AMD is the Athlon X2 6000+
