Is there a top on the bowl? Gold fish can jump out. They tend to get happy and jump when you feed them. They wont do it all the time but it only take one unlucky leap to land on the floor. If Bubbles did this then your dog might have got him. Don't be mad at the dog he was just saving your fish from a painful death. Get a new fish and put a top on it, especially when you feed him!

Is it a big spider?

Often, when a bowl or aquarium is not covered, the fish may jump out.

Get an aquarium with a cover.

Check around the edge of the floor around the aquarium.

Either the dog found him or someone else saw him dead and flushed him.

Seriously, look around the floor and around the bowl - on a desk or a nearby shelf. Goldfish can not only jump out of the bowl, they can jump a few feet away and very high. Seriously, look around. I think your fish jumped out.

attempt feeding the nutrition on one fringe of the tank and whilst everybody is ingesting positioned a pair products of nutrition on the thoroughly different end of the tank, that way with any luck it gets a raffle to sink whilst the fish on the different part are ingesting. Then your slower goldfish can bypass around and forage and could discover the nutrition.

Look around the bowl and on the floor. I have actually had fish jump out of the water and die. It happened to me just a couple of months ago with a beta fish.

Dang that is strange.Usually cats will get fish; birds mice; mine even love to catch grasshoppers and let them pop in and out of their mouths; but i would say perhaps the dog.Are you sure he couldn;t of plopped out his self?If you have anymore fish ; better put them up so you won;t lose anymore.,,Losing any kind of pets is hard on the heart; as we love them so much as you did bubbles,Cute name by the way,,,,Shelly

Little siblings?
The dog?
Your mom?
A friend?
A neighbor?
Cousin?

Ask around! Ask people if they know where your goldfish is. SOMEBODY did something with it. Maybe it's dead at the bottom... also search the bowl!

I had one that jumped one time.. somehow it got under something and I didn't find it until like a year later. (I was not there when it jumped out so no chance that I could have saved it)

Maybe Bubble blew a bubble and floated away.

Happened to me once and I can only conclude that the dog got a bit peckish. (Fish jumped, dog munched.) Tell the spider to watch its back!
