As the international teams enter the actual competition there is an instrumental piece playing over the scene. I have heard it in other films and it has been used by several TV stations as late show intro music. It's been driving me nuts for years but no one ever knows what it is. It's kinda guitar and orchestral keyboardish.
Makes you think olympic event..

a lot of German music for sure, what goes better then German music with beer fest? maybe some Irish pub music/
