Syamese Fighting dish: aka the betta fish, don't breed so easily, you have to take special precaution when breeding them.
1. You have to put the female into the males tank
2. The male will blow a bubble nest and hte female will lay her eggs in it
3. Right after she lays her eggs you must take her out of the makes tank because he will kill her if you don't!
Good Luck, and if you decide to breed them have fun doing it!

Though not terribly difficult to breed, they do require conditioning, and the female can't be put in with the male until both are ready. The hardest part is raising the fry.

i would say no. While mating them is very easy. to fully breed them and raise the fry is not.

It takes alot, ALOT more than waking up and saying " hey i want to breed bettas"

Theres alot of research that is needed, supplies needed, practice, care, time, money, and passion.

You really need not to rush into breeding bettas. I cant stress enough that having bettas for years doesnt make people qualified in a way to breed. They will still need to start over and research breeding.

Again the key word is RESEARCH.

so if you want to breed bettas, please research. it starts on my betta site as well as hundreds of others.

you are welcomed to find more about bettas and breeding them on my betta site http://www.bcaquatics.com

Well, it all depends on how much patience you have ;)

First of all they will need to be conditioned on livefood for at least 2 weeks
Once they're ready, you can put them together
everything is explained step by step in the following article and also has lots of pics

Hope that helps
Good luck

MOST DEFINATELY NOT! My friends have had them before, and they are NOT EASY to breed!!!!! They are very violent around other fish, they'll most likely kill each other (literally) if you try to breed them yourself. Go to your local Petco and ask a specialist there about breeding your fish. DON'T ATTEMPT ANYTHING!!
