The shops have already started stocking the shelves with Christmas goods. What are your views regarding this?

Hi Tango.

I have mixed opinions on stores stocking christmas things already. On the one hand, it's really useful as you have longer to buy things so you can spread out the cost. On the other hand it sucks all the christmas spirit out of the holiday because the shops are only doing it to make more money - hardly festive!

I do love christmas though and have started preparing for it already, i'm trying to make one extra freezer meal each week to eat over christmas i'm hoping this will save money and effort.

Happy Holidays!

Like Christmas alright, but the shops are stocking their shelves already, a bit early for that.

I love Christmas, but, I'm a catholic so I would, it has real meaning to me I love going to church at Christmas more than any other time of the year, there's something so magical about it watching the little ones doing the nativity play. I'm 30 and maybe its because I've got kids but Christmas is still just as magical for me now as when I was a kid. Having family around seeing my kids faces light up when they think Santa's been. And the cost well to hell with the cost its worth every penny when you understand the real meaning of Christmas.

It is a bit early but i love Christmas, i buy something from the Christmas section every week with my normal shop and put it aside for Christmas time, it spreads the cost.

Much to early but i suppose if your on a limited budget if gives u time to get ahead but me personaly hate it.to me christmas shopping starts at the beginning of december, not a killjoy but do think people go over board with the spending, the shops are only shut for 2 days but try and get in a supermarket, and people spend like its going out of fashion.

I do love Christmas, but really think the retailers ought to respect the whole idea of the special season and NOT start displaying merchandise until at least after Halloween.

Absolutely love it. I really don't care about store already having christmas stuff because for me christmas is never too early. If anything all the stuff in the stores make me happy because then I know christmas is right around the corner. For me, there is never enough christmas!

I don't mind seeing Christmas goods early as it gives me a chance to pick items up before the shops start crowding up in late November and throughout December.

I love Christmas - at christmas time. So I'll be buying pressies around the 20th of December - and I'll be eating & drinking and being merry on the 25th of December - recovering on the 26th & back to work on the 27th!

I HATE that it all starts now and I think everyone that buys a chrissie pressie before the beginning of December should be taken out & left on an ice floe.
