if britian has a monnarchy ten what does the parliament do?why do they also have a parliament????

~What is so difficult here? The system has worked for centuries. A little effort will get you to any number of sites that will explain fully the powers of each.

If the USA has a Congress, why does it have a President?

Parliament does all the work of government. The monarchy is all show and arrogance.

The British got rid of most of the monarchy's powers.
But those royals were hard to get rid of completely.

Parliament makes all the laws. They run the government.

The monarchy is mostly symbolic now.

Personally I think they are freeloading leeches off the British taxpayers.

The monarchy no longer controls the government. The monarchy exists for tradition's sake.
