Well it IS possible that all her babies will be premature, but it's not a given.

My first baby was four days overdue, my next two were born at 25 and 26 weeks respectively, the next one was right on time, the one after that was five weeks early but only due to an accident, the last one was again right on time.

So out of six births, I've had 3 full term, one slightly premature, and two extremely premature. Apart from my second child who was induced (after I broke my waters at 19 weeks) for incurable heart defects, they've all survived and are very happy and healthy children.

Every pregnancy is different.

My little sister has had preemies 3 out of 4 pregnancies. But during those pregnancies, she was doing drugs and drinking heavily.

I was premature, but that is because of placenta previa.

I honestly don't know how a doc can generalize and say that all her babies will be preemies. Each pregnancy is different, even in the same woman.

my kids were born at 38, 31, 34, and 39 weeks respectively. just because you have a preemie once doesnt mean it will happen again, both my preemies were unknown as to why and they said i had a better chance of having my last baby premature because of it but he was full term.

My friend has all her babies premature, from 30 weeks to 35 weeks. There was never any explanation.
