I saw it the other night but missed the beginning..i saw from the part when Sam and his friends are holding the baby in his apt..how did this movie begin? How did he end up with this child?

that was a great movie! i saw it a while ago but i think he was having sex with someone who was either a prostitute or a drug addict or something. she got pregnant and didnt want the baby.

in the beginning of the movie, sam is at starbucks where he works and find out his baby is going to be born. the mommy of the baby, well, i dont know who she is and how she got pregnant, but she doesnt want the baby so sam goes to the hospital scared and confused during the birth. he names the baby lucy diamond dawson (soo cute!!) after his favorite beatles song because as you see in the movie, he loves the beatles. then you see sam taking the baby home and how the baby's mom deserts them and how sam tries to take care of the baby at his apartment with the help of his neighbor. i cant really remember the rest of the beginning, so i hope i helped!!! you should rent the movie and watch it again!

Now that you have been filled in on the beginning you should rent it. Sean Penn did an excellent job with this role.

I liked that movie, check it out at blockbustr to find out/ending and begining...also may recordit?? lots of beatle music!

Are you talking about the movie with Robin Williams? If so, I can't remember too much about it, but I do have it on DVD at home. I can picture the cover, mostly white, with a big picture of him. Is this the movie or am I trippin?
