For me, it's a toss-up between Panic! at the Disco and Fall Out Boy. The music of my generation is horrible! The 70's and 80's had all of the good music. Even the 90's had a few good bands.

I have to disagree with people who say it's My Chemical Romance. MCR owns. But I guess it's their opinion and all I care about is that MCR has good music and I love em.
I say all those little Disney Channel bands and singers. ESPECIALLY the Jonas Brothers. omfg. Yes, them. They thought it would be cool to take three guys, dress them up as wanna-be emos in tight pants and emo hair [except the curly haired dude] and make them sing little kiddy poppy songs. I think it's because the media are saying that rock and emo music is getting more popular, so they wanted the Jonas Brothers fit in that category but fit for those pre-teen DIsney Channel girlies & boys.

Avril Lavigne is the worst!(well she's an "artist" (not a good one, tho) but still)... I hate all the other pop/hip hop/rap stuff too tho... (eg Akon, Fergie, Shop Boyz, Rihanna etc...)
You people are f*cked up! MCR and FOB and those kinds of bands are great!!!! mcr's music/lyrics save lives, and they're great role models cuz they were oncce losers in schoool, but now they've got millions of fans who sit on the edge of their seats waiting for anything mcr-related... and there are millions of people who AREN'T teenyboppers who LOVE mcr for their music!! and why is everyone hatin on emo's? it's not like they're going to come to your house and kill you! it's a way to express individuality and emotions! whereas all the pop and girly girls and jojcks are just meant to be in the Star wars movie... the one with all the clones... the music is crap and meaningless, and the style is just so... weird... idk how to explain it, but still

Everyone back off of My Chemical Romance, they save lives so i don't think they deserve to be the answer to this question. I don't like Avril now though and never liked Hillary Duff.......ever. Fergie too.

FALL OUT BOY!!!! MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE CAN KICK THEIR *** everyone who thinks mcr is the worst band...they're not. people like them because of their MUSIC. NOT because everyone else in the teenybopper catogory likes them. there are many people in my school that have favorite bands that ARENT mcr. if you think mcr is popular because of the teenybopper thing, youre wrong. its because they have good music.

I'm not a big fan of John Mayer (sp?) He is too wishy-washy for this generation. Don't much like Rhianna either---".....ella ella ella" UGH!!

anything disney makes is horrible! (like hanna montana, jonas brothers, etc.) but i mean the older soundtracks and songs like the lion king 1, those are awesome! lets see....avril lavigne for sure and paris hilton. she shouldn't even BE in the music industry.. or any industry.. theres a lot more but i can't think or anything else.

that band that Talon from Laguna Beach put together, Soulgerz or something. Made me want him to go back to 2nd grade. He was a dumb. Probably still is.
