I wondered this myself so I did some research. I spent 13 hours in the bathtub once. I had to drain the water out a little bit at a time and add warm water so I woulndn't freeze, and I had a bunch of snacks, drinks, phone etc nearby....but you know what happened? when i got out of the tub after the 13 hours I still only had my fingers and toes wrinkled. This should be the 8th wonder of the world!

Good question, strange. My sister had a bandage on her entire hand and went swimming and the whole palm got wrinkly. It probably has to do with the thickness of the skin.

because of the fact the layer of epidermis below the pores and skin absorbs extreme quantities of water as a result leaving a wrinkled look and the floor on your hands and ft are extra fragile.
