I would like to know where liberal-minded people draw their own personal 'lines in the sand' . I've seen the boisterous claims of the left that they'd rather die than give-up their rights . But would they ? How about the right ?

Is there a difference depending on whether you're a Christian or not ?

And then I wonder specifically what atheists would say ? They believe they're done when they die so when it's over it's over . So where do they stand and where do they draw their inspiration ?

Really now -- Where is your line in the sand ?

Me ? - Not sure entirely except to say that I'd go much further than now and one deal-breaker would be if I has to disavow the Lord Jesus Christ . . . . . THAT , I will not do .

Thank you .

Typo - 'has' to disavow should be 'had' to disavow.

Excellent question. I suspect your proverbial line in the sand is different for any particular person - and, in some cases concerning the anti-war zealots in this country - there appears to be no provocation or possible consequences that would justify confronting an enemy with force.
One good example of my line in the sand concerns people who are hell bent on hatred and domination and use tactics of the indiscriminate slaughter of innocent people to further their objectives.

I'm extremely committed to the US Constitution and have sworn an oath to uphold it. I took the oath seriously and I don't know how far I would go to defend our rights and which ones.

I'd like to say I'd die for the entire US Constitution, but it has been messed with. I'd like to see it properly interpreted first. I definitely don't want to see it continue to be changed (and I'm not talking about security, I'm talking about the First Amendment).

I'd like to think I would die for our rights, but I really do hope it doesn't come to that. I'd much rather live to fight for them.
