Is 80K a year a lot? Perhaps you should go back and take remedial math to answer this question.

Now, based on the professions, I would look at entry level positions and see what the average neurologist and pharmacist make. If the average is lower than what you expect, take the job.

In comparison, the average computer programmer will make about 40-50k. The average teacher will make 30k. So, I don't know, is twice as much as another profession a lot?

I have no idea what your age is at the moment, but unless you're already in college, just let time go by until something else besides the gaining of "wealth" influences your decision! And if you're already in college, I would suppose, none of the professions you mention might be the ones suiting you, since so much it is asked of both.

Have you thought of anything in the economy or business fields instead? Your want for greater wealth will be an incredible pulling force in your life probably forever, and where else would you feel better than in making money for you and others?!!

I'm pretty sure you won't be getting 100k a year right at the start (plus you have to go through practical training and stuff, more school). But 80k would be very comfortable.

That is low for pharmacists. The average starting income is closer to 100k now a days.
