Same with me, too.
Any time generalizations start flying I hopefully can leave the area quickly.
I guess I watched too much Dragnet, because I just live for facts only type conversations. That or Mr. Spock, high level of logic or alarms go off and I run!

When I want to get my black friend's attention from down the hall. Just a joke don't take it the wrong way.
But like you when someone generalizes a whole group of people.
God Bless you my brother in Christ.

The moment someone defines themselves by putting someone or some group down...
Whether racially, by gender, by political affiliation, by socio-economic class, by religion, by geography, age, education, spoken language... etc.
If you have to raise yourself by standing on your prejudices... I just sigh, "OH BROTHER!!!"
Peace.
