Seriously people, whats the big deal, I don't consider myself either, and I don't see the difference between the two, both are melting pots, maybe slightly crappier health care systems. But the people are the same, shouldn't that be enough?

My best friend is Canadian.
She dislikes the president, and our healthcare system, and how religious Americans can be, and that we are less liberal politically than Canada. That about covers most Canadians' complaints.

I'm an American and I don't hate Canadians. Although I hear at least once a week about how stupid Canadians are. I got to know a few Canadians and dated one for 9 months. I say they're more respectful than (most) American men. Not to mention he was completely faithful and we never had sex. Although, he did like to drink! LOL Canadians eh!!!
Canada is sweet.

I was never aware of the hostilities between these two societies since their economies, governments and values are virtually the same
There is hostility between USA citizens and Mexicans and people from South America simply because they think it's perfectly ok to churn out babies at a phenomenal rate even though they can't support them, and then hop the fence and migrate ILLEGALLY in the U.S.A. as opposed to revolting the way we (U.S.A.) and France did many years ago by forcing our governments to meet our demands.

Canadian-French are raciest and hate blacks and mexicans along with hating just plain Americans. Thats why we hate them.
