the Clovis Point people were considered the first indians, however, there were most likely other natives in other parts of the country prior to that time.

The people who settled the America's were "Pre-Indians", ancestors to modern tribes. They did not even look exactly like modern Indians.

Most American Indians were NOT TRIBAL.

They were settled farmers of corn, squash, tomatoes, and other crops.

They lived in cities (like Cahokia), towns, or villages.

CNN says they;ve been here about 50,000 years.
