itl probably fit .. u may not be able to use the adjacent pci slot tho .. if the chipset heatsink interferes u may need to remove it and cut down a few of the fins but i dont think its a big deal ... the extra airflow from the cards intake would more than compensate for a reduced surface area on it ...

Yup, it should fit. It will just cover the x1 PCIe slot which is empty anyway. Slight modding of Southbridge heatsink is only required if there is interference.
That card could draw up to 10amps on the +12V rail. Be sure to have at least 25 amps. Processor circuit, drives and fans also draw power from the +12V rail.
Be sure your processor could tap the full potential and not just bottleneck that pretty powerful card. 2.4Ghz or higher X2s or C2D (stock or overclocked) would be great.

Common now, are you showing off sonny or what's the delio ;)
It took me 1 look to determine that the new BFG is really 33mm thick, it is exactly 2 backplates wide with a smooth surface from the beginning to the end.
And it took me only the second look at your PC's insides with the current gfx and it's obvious the heat sink below it is too close - just draw a line / put a ruler from your short PCI Express to the heat sink if you can't see it ;)
No, it DEFINTELY WOULD NOT FIT
And you other people, wow, WOW

It should fit. But it takes up two slots, even though it only plugs into the PCIe slot. See how the card appears to have two of those metal strips that fit the back of the case?
The little short slot next to the PCIe slot is for a modem. As long as you're not intending to use that, it should fit with no problem.

hi, the main skinny g to ascertain is this :- One 6-pin PCI convey supplementary ability connectors or 2 4-pin Molex supplementary ability connectors. i can sasfely say that the ability grant presented with that base laptop at 305watts is nowhere close to powerful adequate to run that card.8-(( you will choose a minimum of a 600w grant of sturdy high quality. i assume which you have added greater ram to that gadget throughout the time of purchase to convey it as much as two.5g? the different form of ram between the laptop memory and the cardboard memory is irrelevant as they are 2 completely distinctive areas of the device. in case you're procuring this laptop for gaming then I propose you think of back as this is not a gaming gadget yet an person-friendly domicile / enterprise laptop. you will want a much greater powerful cpu to get sturdy effects alongside with a that card. Sorry to be so adverse however the reducing component video games require reducing component laptop's and a bleeding wallet!!! 8-(( Arnak

Nice card choice. Its long but it should fit with no probs. Biggest prob with cards like that is that the end of them want to hit the hard drive but i see your hard drive is low enough not to interfere. I trust you are getting a new power supply with enough watts and amps on the +12V rail to handle it because the stock 250watt isn't gonna cut it.
