Men are caught more often, methinks. I base this on 20 years of observing fellow adults.
Ladies are smarter about this stuff as a general rule. Plan, get cover, ironclad alibi, THEN do the deed.
Men do the deed first, and then try to cover it.
Failure to plan is planning to fail.

No, I don't think that men are the one who cheat the most. I do think that the men who are cheated on don't talk about it as often as women do.
I know several men who had cheating g/f or wife, and it wasn't until after the breakup that they told us why. But the women who had cheating bf husbands we knew the next day.
Remember most of the cheating couples are both married, so it's not like all the men are cheating with single women.

The statistics show that women in their 20s cheat more than men. From 30s to 50 it's about the same. And over 50 years old, men cheat more.

It's not a matter of getting caught. The stat's about cheating are based on surveys.
I'd say that men ADMIT to it more often.

Well in a statistis reading a few months ago i actually read that women cheat more often than men do. Men just get caught.

I'm a marriage and family counselor, and I see probably an equal amount of both lately. It used to be that mostly men were the ones to stray, but now it's becoming more and more common for women to. However, you're more likely to hear in society that men cheat because they're "dogs," but women cheat because their husband is "emotionally unavailable" or something, as if that excuses it.

I think its about the same for women and men. Men do seem to get caught more though.

I think women get more opportunities than men get so women cheat more,, women can keep a secret about it where men want to brag about it and that gets them caught more often...men ..quit bragging about it and you wont get caught...lol

It's not that men get caught more we just actually start feeling bad and want to get caught. Women who cheat are doing it cause they feel they deserve it, and therefore don't feel bad. They don't want to get caught.

They are usually the ones that get caught.
Only thing I don't know is, if its stupidity or their lack of caring that gets them caught.
Women are natural nurturers...we may be just as devious as men but we don't want anyone to hurt from our selfishness. Where as men, in general, are there again only thinking about themselves when they cheat not who they may hurt in the process.
