We have a monkey puzzle tree in our yard that is starting to go to seed on a few of the branches. As I understand it there is up to 100 seeds in a single pod / branch end.The interesting thing about this to me is that apparently they are selling for up to five bucks a seed on e-bay..... NICE....!!

5 bucks a seed. Well, I'd do what the monkeys do and start swinging from branch to branch to get those little money makers.
Now, seriously, how about using a ladder or maybe one of those long branch pruners to snip the seed pods off.
