My mom just had surgery on her shoulder. She broke it while running a triathalon. Flowers are no good and food is no good as well. What do I do? My mom is very hip and has a great sence of humor! She is 55.

All I can think of is a Teddy Bear with a sling around its arm/shoulder.

My mom had thyroid surgery some years ago.
She had a 4 or 5 inch incision on her throat.
I bought her some balloons and flowers and a (sick) little gift, we both got a kick out of, it was a pez candy dispenser.

Hope your mom gets well fast, faith
