I have also taken provera to get my period happening after I had miscarriage, my cycles went all silly. I was taking 50 mg of clomid the first and second times I conceived, as well as 1500 mg of metformin per day (a multivitamin can help also), I got pregnant and then miscarried, 2 cycles later pregnant again and had a daughter. She is 3 years old, 3.5 in December.
Then I went all through it again, Doctor started me on 50 mg of clomid again and not much happened because it didn't ripen any follicles, so no egg that month. He put me up to 100mg of clomid, (still taking 1500 mg of metformin) did 2 more rounds and got pregnant only to miscarry at Christmas 2 yrs ago, it was a blighted ovum I didn't have a D&C I took the sister drug to the ru486 (abortion drug) and I bled for a month it was awful. Next year I went back in Feb and tried for two cycles. Finally in March last year I was pregnant AGAIN, lol and delivered a healthy baby boy on the 6th of December.
So take care it WILL happen, I am liviing proof. Now we are considering going again, but will do it next year after Christmas.
Seriously good luck, listen to the Doctor hs/she knows what they are doing.

I have PCOs as well, I am not regularly on provera but I did take it for 5 days about 3 months ago when we started all the fertility drugs. I am currently on metformin and I have taken 2 cycles of clomid. The first cycle was 50mg for 5 days .. unfortuantely I did not ovulate that cycle. The 2nd round of clomid Dr. increased me to 100 mg for 5 days and on CD 19 I ovulated by CD 31 I had a positive preg test. I stayed pregnant for only about 12 days after the test and miscarried. I am waiting for my period to come again and Dr will give me another round of clomid and wie will try again.

It can be done!! Pcos is the easiest form of infertility to overcome!!!!!!!!

Good Luck and Lots of Baby Dust to the both of us

hi there, it varies from woman to woman, but yes that combination has worked for many, and it's good that your doctor it's giving them to you, sometimes they don't want to prescribe too many....but this should help, you can read more about PCOS, and you can also ask a doctor online for free for their opinion, try www.FertilityTies.com
good luck!
