Just wondering if I can use 3M Comerical Grade Rubberized Undercoating, to protect my new exhaust pipes... I'm sure the answer will be no, because the heat will just burn it up...

Yes you can. take them off the car hang them in the garage and coat them heavily. If you must put them back on the car. Do not start the car or the heat will ruin all your hard work.

Also, if the undercoating did not burn up it would trap moisture and cause the pipes to rust faster.

Yes the coating will burn off, and the smell will stay around a long time.

no. You can look at exhaust coatings like Thermo-tec or other high heat paints.

how long the smell of undercoating stay, i did bigesst mistake of undercoating the exhaust .. dude, ut smell worst than a skunk... what can be done

There are heat resident paints but they have to be repeated often>

No Sir, the coating will melt and drip, and it will smell awful, could even cause a fire.
