Violence has never been the answer. For every vice there is a virtue, for every pole, there is an opposite, and the opposite of violence is nonviolence. Now violence teams up with hatred, and the opposite of hatred is ,yes, you know this;love.
"Love worketh no ill to his neighbor, therefore love is the fulfilling of the law."
Romans 13:10
We are meant to love one another,I know that this can be hard, but I also know that it is doable. We are to hate the sin,not the sinner.

violence is neverthe answer...but sometimes a neccesity...the world probably would not survive without it..because of all the millions of people on this planet there is bound to be somebody who wants to start something...look at all the wars and battles in our history...out side of a lot of killing and everything else that comes with violence very little has been accomplishe...sure...some countries were freed and some were made more hostile...some countries were found and/or lost over violence but in the long run..it meant nothing but blood-shed and fear...and a lot of these countries arenot any better off for it...a lot of countries have tried to bring peace to various parts of the world and to little avail...now immigrants go to other lands and decide they want to dress or speak in their native tungue or change the land they migrated too...i.e. our mexican neighbers...the eastern people ...i.e..muslims...and other religious sects...nothing wrong with all that IF when they come here or we go there the migrants should follow that countries polocies and laws..NOT change them to their individual society...so people must use force (mild violence) to avert these things...not the answer..just a way

If we resort to violence we have already lost the fight. Madness consumes reason. We have lost all communication. How can we deliberate? It is our ability to empathies, and compromise that shines, a tiny window of hope on the situation.

Depends on the question.
It could be anything, a new paintbrush when the old one is full of dried paint or "No, we sold the last one yesterday and switched suppliers"

Why is it that the ones advocating non-violence keep ending up dead? e.g., Gandhi, MLK

You are the answer.
See yourself in the mirror, then close your eyes, feel your heart beat, feel your soul...what is really inside of you? Then, Give yourself to God and you will know.
