...in the first american Gulf War?

I flubbed this question, it should have been worded differently. But lots of great answers! I like Dennis's response. Rollin reminds me of a little American Borat. "America greatest country in the world, all other countries are run by little girls..."

NONE of them were Iraqis in the first place. There seems to have been a major push by the White House to blame 9/11 on Iraq and Saddam.
If not for Saddam's hatred for bin Laden there might have been some Iraqi terrorists.

Edit;
Rollin West you seem to think that calling Americans Canadian is an insult, like maybe we weren't pulling our weight in Afghanistan. Don't you think as a proud Proud American, you might want to represent your country as something other than an ignorant redneck???
Just a suggestion...

Listen to the crazy people saying the hijackers were not Iraqi!

Republicans (such as GW Bush and Dick Cheney) and Republican organizations (the RNC and FOX News) have been telling us for years that Iraq attacked us on 9/11... and since the attacks that day were solely by hijacked airplanes, it is sooo obvious that all the ijackers were Iraqis.

How can you people think it wasn't the Iraqis that attacked us on 9/11?

Also, the Iraqis are responsible for my lawn having too many weeds, and for rigging the presidential election in 2000, and again in 2004. They also caused Huricane Katrina. The Iraqis are responsible for when my cabe TV goes out.

It's the Iraqis, I tell you, the Iraqis! The Republicans have taught me so!

I think they still would have been Saudis just because the disenfranchised people of Saudi Arabia are out there and are willing to follow bin Ladens..It is an extremist government just as Iran is based on Religious law not based on equlity or any rule of law...Laws based on the interpretation of the Quran or the Bible are not for free people...

So,you're saying that if we had of went into Baghdad in '91,the hijackers would have been mostly Iraqis instead of Saudis?

I don't understand the logic of this....

Since they were not Iraqi, I don't see the point of your question. The hijackers were Saudi nationals.

Hint: Operation Iraqi Liberation = OIL

"Proper job" would have been to let the Kuwaitis, who are no great prize, hire their own mercenaries to take back their property.
