he makes good songs, plain and simple..just because he synthesizes his voice dont mean he sucks..he got his own style

I think what really needs to be evaluated is the word "hating," which is a word that's tossed around a lot, and the meaning of that word is forgotten. I thought the definition of the word "hating" is when some one is jealous of another, and puts that person down to make themselves look or feel better, that's what I grew up knowing it as. Ok, with that said, what in the hell is there to be jealous of T-Pain for? He may make music for the young folks to admire, but besides the fancy clothes, dreads, and the synthesized voice he has no talent in my opinion. Let's take away that electric voice and see what he's left with...I guess we will never know anyways. When I judge a singers talent, I go beyond the beats and style, I actually listen to the voice. Most people now days don't seem to be concerned with a singers voice, or lyrics to a song. They judge a song by it's beats, and the image that comes along with it.

People hate on him because it doesn't take talent to synthesize ur voice, I could make a bangin cd if I did it. I however really liked his 1st cd because he actually sang on a lot of the songs, did play with his voice. On his second cd he synthesizes his voice on every flippen song, I like his singles, but I can't listen to his new cd.

His songs are good so I'm not complaining. People like to hate when someone is doing well in the business, and that is exactly what T-Pain is doing at the moment. Every single that he has had so far has been a smash hit!

People are hatin because they have to find something wrong with this guy. It can't be that much wrong with him if everybody wants a collaboration with him and Akon all the time.

I do listen to his music and it's kind of addicting... but it *is* overplayed to the highest degree... so it gets old quickly, and all of his songs sound the same. Also, they're all about f***ing and drinking.
