i know everyone will think the way my head was injured is funny. but anyway, i am 31 now and when i was around 10 give or take, i fell down and a neighbors son was riding a bicycle and ran over my head. it cut it open pretty bad. i had to go have stitches and everything. it was the right side of my head about 4 inches up and to the left of my right ear. i never had problems with my head really bothering me until the last week or so. i will be feeling fine and i will start having such sharp excrushiating pain where it had been cut open when i was little. it will last for several hours. it honestly feels like someone stabbing me in my brain. i have tried over the counter pain medication but nothing helps. i don't have insurance so can't have anything done right now. could this be connected to the accident i had when i was 10?

Sometimes when you get older you can feel the effects of an injury that happened when you where younger, but I'm not a doctor so I can't say for sure. You don't have insurance but you cannot be turned away from an emergency room--I know it's not the best solution but they may be able to help you get on state medicaid. I'm on that insurance, and while it's not the best, I'm glad for it because I wouldn't be able to afford my medication.
