I got Halo 2 for PC and I apparently need a better graphics card. I would like to bump up my Windows Experience index to at least 4.0. I prefer an Nvidia or an ATI, but I don't know much about video cards, so any advice would help. Thanks.

Althou the 1950pro is a nice card its dumb to buy a DirectX9 card when you have Vista with DirectX10. I assume you have Vista as Halo 2 only runs on Vista. Get the best nvidia 8000 series or ATI 2000 series your pocketbook and powersupply can handle. I have Halo 2--totally rocks!!! Here's a chart so you can compare the various cards on different benchmarks.

Get an X1950 Pro (AMD/ATI), it's fast and not too much$$$

Yeah you are probably playing at 1024 X 768 with min. details.

current DX10 cards are to weak for the upcoming DX10 games.
