Chances are that it's not dead. It really depends on the vaccuum, though. If it's dead, it's because it got banged into something that ripped it apart.

I've never found a live one in my vaccuum, but I don't check either. However, I know for a FACT that my pool vaccuum doesn't kill them. They'll be sitting there in the basket, getting knocked around, and they'll crawl away when I dump the basket.

Leave him in there until he starves in a couple days.

If it went round that fast moving roller brush and got sucked up into the cannister holder, it deserves to live;
But it sure isn*t going to get out. It is probably in a zillion pieces by now. If it was such a huge spider he is probably a wolf spider which is harmless. . Don*t be such a wimp; turn your vac on , he*ll be sure not to get out because he would have to crawl out faster than the brush is turning.I have these in my basement and they eat the bugs.

Their exoskelletons are easily damaged. Chances are the rotator brush in your vacuum is splattered with spider guts. Or the inside of the hose has arachnid residue.

shame on you, murderer! Send me your spiders, sans vacuum.

There are bunches of good spiders, all easily squished with your pinky.

If you are that scared, what I'd do is get some aerosol can of spider killer and while the vacuum is running squirt some spider killer in the end of the suction tube.

Hope this helps

I hope they die!!! I have sucked up many. Now I am freaked to go near my vaccumn. Oh, try those Rainbow vaccumn-they have water in the tank-bet those little creeps die then.

Well I suggest either emptying it outside or leave it alone for a few days and it should die on its own if it hasn't already.

well i don't know what kind of vacuum you have; i think the best policy is not to empty it for a bit; i doubt he/she/it can get back out and it will surely die in a couple of days, if it hasn't already! by the way i use my vacuum to get rid of bugs all the time and have never (knock on wood) had one get out on me.

Could have but possibly not. Dispose of the contents of the bag or canister.

No. It morphed into a mega cow and is going to eat you.

OMG! WTF? Get over it. However, tonight it will probably crawl out and bite you right on the eye ball. Then you would have something to be "freaked" about. Keep us posted sweetie.
