i have a hyundai elantra 2002 that i wrecked last saturday. (well, it wasn't even a wreck...it was wet and i slid off the road into woods/ditch area.) i was not going over 30 mph. the repair shop it is at now does not know for sure, but they think the frame is bent. they haven't measured it or anything though. someone will be out tomorrow to look at it. i've heard different things such as you can't bend your frame going that slow...or my car is a "unibody" which means there isn't a frame to be bent. etc...my question is should i get a second opinion?

Depending on the impact, you could have damaged the uni-body. Before you get a second opinion, have the first shop, or your insurance company check the car thoroughly.

I have seen cars that have had serious damage from impacts at even lower speeds!

It is unlikely that you bent your frame at that speed. I would get a second opinion.
