People that think WMD were shipped to Syria or some other country must think US intelligence is pathetic beyond repair.

We might be pretty weak in the human intel area in the Middle East, but a lot of that is because you're trying to get human intel from a country with a different ethnic background. We're still pretty good at the other types of intel and the odds of Iraq shipping any substantial amounts of anything that couldn't fit in a breadbox without us finding at least one shipment have to be pretty slim.

There were none. Hussein was playing Low Hole Chicago against both the US and Iran and trying to bluff his way to both ends of the pot. Unfortunately for him, we fell for the wrong bluff.

(He couldn't afford to get caught with evidence of WMD, but still had to leave Iran wondering.)

I just want to say that just because Iran and Iraq have one letter difference in their names doesn't mean they're good buddies. Iranians don't like Iraq, they're not helping them, and Bush is trying like hell to form some kind of link between them. That whole "Iran is giving Iraq weapons" thing died pretty quickly, didn't it? Just because we're at odds with both of them right now doesn't mean they've linked up together.

For those of you who assume all brown people are the same, do some research. Iran isn't even an Arabic country - they're Persian, and most persians I know don't exactly have a fondness for Arabs. My friend's dad won't even eat Arabic food. They use the same alphabet because they were conquered by the Arabs at one time and forced to learn it to be able to read the Q'oran.

You Bush groupies actually think Iraq was able to relocate it's entire biological and nuclear program to Syria without our govt seeing a thing? We've had satellites focused over Iraq now for almost the last 2 decades and somehow we missed this? Are you nuts? If this was true, then why hasn't Bush thought of this excuse? Right now, they are looking for any excuse as to why we invaded a country for reasons that turned out to be untrue? Let me guess, Limbaugh believes they're in Syria?

Typical Bush supporters - Making non-negotiable claims without any evidence, proof or logic. You people are destroying my country.

If you're referring to the Chemical and Biological weapons Hussein was developing, apparently they have all been located and either dismantled, buried or blown up years ago, since there have been no recent news stories regarding discovery and demolition of large hidden caches of Chemical and Biological weapon in the deserts of Iraq.

If you are referring to Nuclear weapons, Saddam Hussein never had them. No mobile nuclear weapons labs, no aluminum tubing, no cahes of highly radioactive Uranium-35 or -237, no "yellowcake", nothing of a nuclear nature, unless you count the radium in Saddam's glow-in-the-dark watch.

To those persons who casually and blithely say, "Oh the nukes are in Syria now",, where's your proof? You know what proof is, don't you? It's NOT going on TV with no Intel to back up your theories, and since the promised nuclear wepaons weren't in Iraq, and they won't be in Syria when we attack THERE, where are they? WHich country do we rip to shreds next? How many countries do we invade, looking for these stupid non-existant nuclear weapons?

In conservatives' imaginations. 12 years of sanctions and inspections completely destroyed their nuclear and chemical weapons programs. All of that garbage about moving the weapons to Syria is complete garbage. Saddam didn't get along with Syria, they fought against him in the First Gulf War. Cons just make up stuff instead of admitting their lies and mistakes. They have not one single piece of evidence to support the existence of those weapons, or their being moved.
