It has been alleged that Kate McCann has stated that the reason for the smell of death on her clothes was a result of her handling six corpses prior to going on holiday.

Passing over the assumption that she wears the same clothes to work as on a beach holiday in a hot country, is it really likely that she didn't wash her clothes for several months, which was how long it took before her clothes etc were checked?
This seems to be stretching it a bit.

How come a locum GP, working 2 days a week, stumbles across that many corpses? Seems a lot.

Filthy Fifi, I read a lot of paper whether print or online. I regret to say the the Daily Sport is not one of them. Perhaps you know more about it than I do because I have never read it.

Hi Saoirse, I agree with your comments entirely. They do seem to be their own worst enemies though.

Rosie i am in complete agreement with you. i am trying my best to defend the macanns because i believe everyone is innocent till proven guilty but their bizarre behavior and comments make it difficult. Innocent till proven guilty we as a country shouldn't deviate or we have lost it

I work for a Medical Centre and it is very rare for a locum to go on house visits this is usually done by one of the partners and a locum is salaried for a short time only, and also the partners know the patients and it is more relevant that they certify a death, not a locum, so I am surprised she did that unless she was a part time GP and not a locum

Yeah.. I heard that.
All I can say is I wouldn't want to be her patient.
And the woman must never wash her clothes.

Plato, what you said makes no sense (again..) what about the cat? What does it have to do with this case?
I'd like to know how many GP's (that work 2 days a week) you know that come across a body every week, let alone six.

Lies just flood out of her mouth. This info will be checkable on her work log/computer and am I glad she's not my GP.It must be a very strange dress code at her surgery if she goes to work in jeans and a suntop .,AND takes Cuddle cat which she said was the reason for the Death scent on it. So much for it being Maddy's favourite toy. When will the McCanns stop all the lies and start telling the truth for once ?

Is it not possible for the "smell of death" to exist even with washing the clothes?

Is it not possible that a locum GP can be called up for cases that the permanent GP'S can't attend, even if that means working more than the two days allocated ?

I may well get into trouble for this but it's my opinion.
If you accidentally killed a person and confession would not cause a prison sentence but would mean the end of your career what would you do.
If it was me, knowing that what I had done was beyond repair, I'd do all I could to salvage the situation, particularly if I had a young family to think of.

That's rediculous. Even if she was called to a death, be it someone at home, nursing home etc, she would not "handle" the body as such. In a nursing home, the nursing assistants would help prepare the body for the undertakers, if the person died at home, then the undertakers would be called to collect the body. All she would have to do is observe that the person is indeed dead then sign the death certificate.
