"wouldve did better"...wow...anyway, grammar aside...there is no telling how he would have done on any other team...maybe if he was signed by the Angels he would've been a 25 game winner....maybe with the Yankees he would have only won 7 games because in a game against the Royals a nasty come-backer hit him in the forehead and knocked him out...there is no telling what he would have done somewhere else...the Sox signed him and he has been ok...maybe he will be a 20 game winner next year...we shall see. Personally, I am still glad that the Red Sox signed him and I think he will turn out to be a solid number 2 guy behind Beckett.

Run support isn't really the problem with him. I do agree he's had like 3-4 games that he should have won, but he has like 3 wins vs. the Yanks and he gave up like 6 runs in every game. He has a winning record with a 4.44 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP. I also agree he does have a bright future with the Sox, but it's kind of stupid to say that he belongs on the yanks.

You're probably right but Boston, under any condition was not going to give the Yankees a chance to get him. They were willing to spend 103M (51M just for the rights to talk to him and the balance once they got him).

Bottom line is that Dice-K is average at best. More, he's a triple A caliber pitcher who got lucky and hit the lottery.

The Yankees do score more runs than the Red Sox, but it's not like Boston doesn't score plenty of runs.

I am glad the Yankees didn't put that much into him. His inflated ERA is over 5 something and hes not as good as they thought he was. He screwed up big time with Kei Igawa. Nuff said.

its not about run support its about e.r.a. which his is over 4 and thats not great. he walks alot of batters and strikes out alot of batters. he just needs to relax, 3 nations are on his every move. japan u.s.a. and red sox nation. too much. he will come around like beckett did. he is trying to do too much.
