x - y = 4
2x = 8
x = 4
4+y = 4
y = 0

Well, seeing how both equals 4,
x + y = x - y

Subtract x from both sides, you get y = -y.

And the only possible answer here is y = 0 because -0 is 0 lol.

Which means if you plug in 0 for y, you get x = 4.
