No! How dare them blame Bush on 9/11!! Clinton downsized the military that Bush was trying to build up again as well as national security. The CIA and FBI were also diminished during Clinton's time in office. We are much more secure now and the majority of our military support their commander in chief. There are documents everywhere confirming everything you stated here. By reading, " Catastrophe, Clinton's role in America's worst disaster" you may find the sources for this information.
And if I may add that we have a Democrat congress in control now, so if things are not moving along as planned, well ask Ms Pelosi!

It would help if you get your facts straight. Feb 93 WTC Bombing: All those involved were arrested and convicted. First inkling of Al Qaeda. Oct 93. Somalia. Demands by republicans to pull our troops out because it wasn't our fight. Nov 95. Saudi Arabia. Clinton ordered offered assistance to Saudi Arabaia to catch the bombers. June 96 bombing. Clinton ordered strikes on suspected terrorist camps. Aug 98. Clinton ordered strikes on suspected terrorist camps. Mentions Al Qaeda as a threat. Republicans scoff. Dec 98. Iraq shoots missiles at U.S. and U.K. aircraft. Moves anti-air systems into the Northern and Southern No-Fly Zones in violation of U.N. resolutions. 1999, Serbs were conducting unprovoked genocide by killing unarmed muslims. Oct 2000, USS Cole: All those involved arrested and charged. Held and prosecuted in Yemen. All found guilty. Clinton tried to set up a wiretapping program with oversight from the FISA court. Who declared it a threat to the American people? John Ashcroft. A man you later helped set up a wiretapping program that violated the Constitution. You know me Scubadog, I wouldn't be saying this if I weren't sure of my facts. As much as I hated the Clinton adminstration, I would rather have them in office trying to work with in the frame work of the Constitution vice the current Administration that has tried to run around it. I'm more scared of what Bush HASN'T done. It's been 5 years and Bin Laden is still on the loose. We're losing the war in Afghanistan. The Taliban are now back in control 1/3 of the country. We've failed to carry through on our promises to the Afghan people. Now we're in the middle of a civil war. We've failed in Iraq. Iraq has forged closer ties to Tehran and has become a training ground for AQ.

Let's see now, attacking another sovereign nation which was no threat to us.... Nope that wasn't a Democrat. How about letting the architect of 9/11 go scott free after the attack? oops that wasn't a Democrat either....Lying to get us into a war that has gotten thousands of people killed is not as bad as lying about a bj from a consenting bimbo? Nope not Democratic here either. Darfur is in great shape since the Republican president has been in office. Why everyone there is grateful for all the help we have given them so much that they all live in mansions and drive BMWs. Butting into the affairs of other countries without being asked to do so by either UN or a country in trouble... Ooops not Democratic there either. Democrats wait to be asked before butting in.

Quite frankly I feel I can trust the Democrats with national security as much and maybe even more these days than the Republicans. Our international relations have been in the toilet since Bush took over. A Democratic president and Democratic led Congress will restore our good will and make nations not hate us and want to attack us. We won't have terror groups recruiting to kick us (infidels in their minds) out of sacred lands. We will stay home and protect OUR country and not someone else's country in their civil war.

Oh don't worry since Bush has secured our borders already we are much safer since 911. Oh that's right the conservatives in charge didn't do a thing to make us more safe here at home since the attacks. They haven't secured our borders and our port and airport security is a joke. They've started wars all over and spread our troops dangerously thin. h yeah republicans do such a great job at making us safe.

September 2001: WTC destroyed; Pentagon attacked; Airline crashes in field in Pennsylvania.

U.S. attacks Afghanistan, routs Al Qaeda/Taliban, which holes up in Waziristan. U.S. invades Iraq on pretext of WMDs. Insufficient troop levels and post-invasion planning leads to quagmire, further destabilizing the region. U.S. hands responsibility of catching core Al Qaeda leaders hiding in Waziristan to questionable Pakistani "president," who strikes a deal with the tribal region to stay out of the region, as long as the fundamentalist, terrorist (read: swine) elements refrain from attacking HIS country. U.S. calls Pakistan "our friend," letting Al Qaeda continue to regain strength, and letting Pakistan skate on creating an illegal black market in nuclear materials, despite the obvious national security threat to the U.S.

Yeah, I guess a Democrat is probably as qualified or MORE to handle our national security as our current non-Democrat "president."

Ya, i am not thinking that i would trust them...thanks for the posting, but as you can see the libs still are calling you a liar....go figure

fateridder: are we just suppose to sit around and wait until they drop the nuc on us.....thats dumb!

taken from the snopes.com posting on the first page:
On 26 February 1993, a car loaded with 1,200 pounds of explosives blew up in a parking garage under the World Trade Center, killing six people and injuring about a thousand others. The blast did not, as its planners intended, bring down the towers — that was finally accomplished by flying two hijacked airliners into the twin towers on the morning of 11 September 2001.
Four followers of the Egyptian cleric Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman were captured, convicted of the World Trade Center bombing in March 1994, and sentenced to 240 years in prison each. The purported mastermind of the plot, Ramzi Ahmed Yousef, was captured in 1995, convicted of the bombing in November 1997, and also sentenced to 240 years in prison. One additional suspect fled the U.S. and is believed to be living in Baghdad.

**does that last sentence explain that there WERE/ARE terrorist in iraq.......hhhhhmmmmm...

If this question is referring to security on our Southern border, I'm afraid no body cares. I'm a conservative too.
