okay, sear world has a lot of shows. although there are some activities (feeding dolphins, feeding stingrays, wall climing) they cost extra. there is a play area but i think its kind of expensive to pay for a day ticket if all they are going to do in play in the playground.

Blizzard Beach is a water park. you can be as active or inactive as you want to be. there are slides, pools, lazy rivers, etc.

so knowing your kids you can make a decision.

This is a tough question to answer because it all comes down to a matter of personal choice. Seaworld costs around $60 per person, and includes stadium shows, like the Shamu show. Sea World has only three rides, and all are great, but Sea world is for people who can really appreciate ocean life.

Blizzard Beach is a great water park that has many thrilling slides, and costs about $38.00 per person. There are seperate areas for younger kids, as well as very small children. On a hot day, Blizzard Beach can fill up very quickly, and there can be a lot of waiting in line to ride a quick slide. The slides are great fun, and the large raft ride that can fit many people is probably my favorite. There is only one place to get food, which really isn't an issue, considering Sea World's food is horrible.

My personal choice is Sea World. I love animal exhibits, and I can spend hours at the Dolphin pool and Sting Ray lagoon. The rides are OK, but the stadium shows are great. I love Blizzard Beach, but I think a family can get more bang for their dollar at the theme parks. If you want to get cost efficient, check out Discovery Cove, which is a very intimate water park right next to Sea World. For a little more than $100.00 per person, a family can spend a relaxing day swimming with exotic fish and Sting Rays, and you receive breakfast and lunch as part of your cost. Discovery Cove only allows 1,000 people in the park per day, so their is plenty of elbow room. And you also get free days to Sea World if you go to Discovery Cove.

Hope I have been some help

Blizzard Beach. It is more interactive than Seaworld, especially for the whole family. Seaworld has mostly exhibits.

Oh, and BTW, you can only swim with the dolphins if you set up a reservation thing and you have to pay alot of money...

are u asking for advice for urself, or my personal opinion??? Well my advise is tat it matters on the age of the people going & the amount of people going. Blizzard Beach is good with big familys & people who are really young or an adult who loves adventure. Seaworld is more for a few people, who love animals & shows. They are really different. i personally love blizzard beach because it has became like a family thing bcuz my family goes there once every year or two for the last 6 years i think. i also went there with my extended family of 16 people and it was really fun! i also dont like seaworld cuz i had a bad experience there on my 5th grade fieldtrip. Good LucK!!!

i agree with you when you say that sea world is a sit down and watch kind of place but also there are a few rides there. theres a water ride which is pretty cool and a roller coaster but thats pretty much it. ive never been to blizzard beach but i have been to typhoon lagoon. typhoon lagoon was a lot of fun and the best thing there id have to say would be the wave pool you could seriously spend hours in it. Water parks though areespecially if you going with kids. trust me. id much rather go to a water park and run around and have fun then go to sea world. the water parks are a blast theres a ton of stuff to do there. At Blizzard Beach they have the toboggan racer, mount gushmore, summit plummit, tikes peak, teamboat springs, runoff rapids, snow stormers, slush gusher, double dipper, and the cross country creek.
