My oldest son passed the entrance test at 15, went to college at 16... He graduated with all sorts of honors, then moved back home!
So, enjoy the freedom!

We put our 4 year on a bus this week for the first, he will be going to pre-school. He was very excited to go and when he came home, we could see the excitment in his eyes at how proud he felt now that he was in school, just his big brother.
As parents, we need to make sure we give our kids the roots to grow by and wings to fly by. This comes with structure from us, the parents.
I wrote this to describe how I felt....
I hope you treat him well, his name is Braeden and he is my son.
I am letting him go into a world of unknowns.
It is his first day of school and his very firs bus ride.
As I watched the bus drive away, I could tell how excited he was ride the bus.
I can’t help to think that is the beginning to a wonderful adventure in life for him.
I hope you treat him well, his name is Braeden and he is my son.
He is dressed in his new school outfit, shoes tied tight and back-pack at the ready.
This is a day he has been waiting all summer long for, as his big brother has told him so many great things about school and all the friends he will make.
He loves to paint, loves to draw and loves to play.
I hope you treat him well, his name is Braeden and he is my son.
There are so many cruel things in the world today.
Yet I put my trust in you with my child, my son.
He may not change the world today; he may not put his stamp on life today. He knows many things, and will learn many more. I hope you treat him well, his name is Braeden and he is my son.
My son… I have learned that the world can be full of wonderful things and never let yourself feel that you can’t reach for the stars if you jump high enough.
The mistakes you make today are a part of learning.
Never be afraid to ask your questions, draw the pictures you have in your mind and talk to the friends you meet along the way. I know they will treat you well, you are my son.

I had to do this twice. We do have the verizon family plan to text & stuff ( and we use it ALOT) but it was like removing my left arm when my youngest left. She was 17 & we were inseperable. Trust me he will enjoy it and YOU will adjust. Less laundry, less cooking, I have found other things to keep me busy and one or the other or both are home jsut about every weekend.

I didn't leave for college, I joined the army, but I'm suprised my mom didn't have a party. She loves me, she missed me too, but I know she was glad to have more peace and the house to herself.

It was realy hard for me. I wanted him to go to college and be a success but I still missed him. Then he got married and moved away. I think that was harder than the college part.
