I think something spilled on the floor in my backseat but I'm not for sure. I've vacummed it out and it is still damp. It has been super hot outside and still hasn't dried completely. Any ideas what could be wrong? But my car has been running just fine.

Did you buy the car used? If so, the car may have been in an accident and has since been repaired. The water could be coming from a leaky door seal or the rear window seal is leaking. If you do have a leak it doesn't necessarily mean the car has been wrecked, but seals usually don't leak unless they have been replaced or the vehicle was in an accident. If the water seems to "appear" after a good rain shower or after taking it through the car wash, I would definitely suspect a bad seal.

FYI, if you suspect that the vehicle has been in an accident, one way to check is to pull the trunk carpet up. If you see small pieces of glass under the carpet, this will be a tell tale sign of an accident. Also, trying looking between your rear seat for glass. Body shop don't always get all the glass out of the car when they do the repairs.

according to danger the A/C is leaking interior the vehicle. The air dealing with is many times interior the passenger facet of the vehicle. The condensation could be going below the front passenger seat carpet and pooling interior the returned seat foot properly, while you evaluate it is the backside element.

You could try putting some cat litter or sawdust on the floorboard for a day or two and then sweep it up and vacuum again. If it continues to get wet, check for window leaks.

it seems that you left a window open or rain got in somehow, you just got to vacuum the hell out of it, I punched a hole in the floorpan of my car with a big screwdriver, to let any excess water out, good luck

what does the liquid smell like? there shouldnt be anything leaking in that area, so something was probably just spilled there.
