I can defiantley see him scoring 50 goals, MAYBE 110 assists but i seriously doubt it.. he will NEVER get both.

You do know that he has only averaged 111 pts over the last 2 seasons...

I suspect you would see someone like Ovechkin score 50 goals long before it ever happens for someone who plays a style like Crosby does... and 110 assists is never going to happen.

note: Crosby is a far better player than someone like Ovechkin; don't get me wrong. Ovechkin can score more goals in a season. but someone like Crosby adds far more to a team overall and makes everyone on his team better for having him there.

50 goals for sure! He is and always will be surrounded by guys who can give him the puck, like Malkin, but I don't see Sid "the Kid" work much on returning the favor, nor do I see that being a particular talent of his.

The fact that he is a cry baby is what it is. He is still young and has the right to lose his temper. What 18-19-20-21 year old doesn't from time to time.

All in all, he is a good player, but I like Malkin and Staal better. They certainly are good for one another.

He'll reach the assist mark before he hits the goal mark. He slumps too much when it comes to scoring goals, but never fails to make a play, which almost always leads to assists. With other great offensive weapons Staal, Malkin, Rex, Roberts, and the newly aquired Sykora, he'll be an assist-making machine this year.

I think he'll get both. He is that good. Has anyone seen his stats from the Dartmouth Subways? 74 games, 104 goals 111 assists. He'll definitely get well over one hundred points and win the scoring title this year.

Crosby is nothing more than an over hyped pretty boy. Mr. Ovechkin has twice as much talent as mr. 'OC 87 collection' there. Do not get me wrong, Crosby is Canadian and he gets props for that. He also has talent. He however does not have the goods to match Alexander Ovechkin.

If Sid gets a real set of linemates like Gretzky had Kurri then he'll do both. I expect the 50 goals will come first. Certainly going to be fun to watch.

I think he'll hit the assist marker first. It's always so much easier to get an assist because there are sometimes two per goal.

He could get both but not in the same season. I don't know why people still don't think he is the best player in the league. He is the youngest league MVP ever and he has plenty of time to get even better
