I have yet to see 3:10, but I will argue for Bale. As an actor, he has a lot of range. I have watched him as an abandoned boy in Japanese captivity in China to a psychopathic killer in American Psycho to a husband in Laurel Canyon to Batman/Bruce Wayne, and the spoiled rich brat in Shaft.
But Russell Crowe is just as good. His temper in his personal life is a hindrance, though.

ooooo im sooo going with christian bale for good acting and good looks and since the only thing Russel crowe is good at is attacking people and going to court!

Christian Bale because I think he's more talented and really gets involved with the characters he's played. That and he's the Batman. That trumps Cinderella Man.

Bale. He can do a wider range of characters and always manages to grab your attention with his intensity for the role.
