How many of you own a Toshiba Satellite laptop? If you do what do you like it or hate it? And why?

I own a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092, and it's the best computer that I have ever had. There is nothing that I dislike about it.

Satellite is nothing more than a name. It does not have ANYTHING to do with the capabilities of the laptop. The only advantage that you would have with a Toshiba over a Dell is the warranty service. With a Toshiba, they have service centers placed all over the country where you can go to get it serviced, you can also bring them to any Best Buy or Circuit City. Dells are mail order, so for the most part you have to deal with people over the phone and get parts shipped to you.

I own a Toshiba Satellite. It s great. Would like to to install linux on it though. Anyone know if Windows and Linux can be installed on the same computer?

Hi, I use Toshiba P-20 17 inch.. the color is red.
I do love the performance..
but
I don't like the weight.. too heavy (around 7-8 kg)

I have a friend who has one and really likes the machine.
I have had Dells and Sony's. Computers are a commodity item now. I am thinking of a new laptop and I wonder if brand makes any difference.

sorry I own a new IMac flat screen,all in one,it does have a PC built in as well but that side is only used for games,but I have heard nothing bad about the Toshiba's.....so far

I have one and I like it a lot. Doesn't come with as much useless propreitory software bloating it as HPs and Dells.
